The history of cosmetics (2010)

storyofcosmetics.org published The history of cosmetics, July 21, 2010, examines the overall use of toxic chemicals in everyday personal care products, from lipstick and baby shampoo. Produced by Free Range Studios and hosted by Annie Leonard, the film by seven minutes of The Story of Stuff project shows the impact for consumers and health of workers and the environment, and outlines ways we can move the industry away from hazardous chemicals and develop safer alternatives. The filmconcludes with an invitation for viewers to support legislation to ensure the safety of cosmetics and body care.
