This was my take on the Sephora look, i feel it's a bit more wearable than having a ton of glitter all over the cheek bones because if you think about how long you'll be wearing this all night, chances are the glitter will end up on your cheeks anyway..haha And I didn't want to do a pink lip to it because that shade of pink would look a bit ashy/tacky on someone with a darker tan, but if you're lighter, go for it! I'm more of a sheer lipgloss kinda person anyway.. Smashbox Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder -- A Review

Hello Everyone!! This is my official review of the Smashbox Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder. I have many thoughts on this product, and I hope I covered absoutely everything you will need to know about this product. It has been called a setting powder, it has been called a finishing powder, it has been called a foundation, it has been called a bronzer, it has been called a powder foundation, it has been called a complexion powder...etc. The ways I find that this product work best: On it's own or over a primer (similar to a MAC MSF Natural) If you have dry or normal skin. If you have minimal redness, discolorations, blemishes If you are within a certain shade range (from pure white to medium-deep tan) (I do not believe this product would work well with oily skin) (I do not believe this product would work well for extended lengths of time) (This is a good foundation setting powder, but it will not help your foundation last in excess of 6 hours) (The hydrating action of the powder is not sufficient to be your only face hydrating product). This product is unique because it is advertised as a skin care-type product as well as a cosmetic powder. It does have some hydrating effects, but these effects are small (although worthy of a mention). As for the amino acids, peptides, etc. I cannot speak on the benefits of these (and it is possible that these additions are just the product's "hook" and do not really perform any significant or useful function). Flamingo Queen - Electric Zoo Contest Entry

You know me, I loove birds! So I decided to create a flamingo inspired look for Michelle Phan's Electric Zoo Halloween contest. Hope you enjoy! :) I had fun being a pink crazy woman bird thing. Much love! Music is The Qemists by Stombpx (Spor Remix) I listened to techno/electronica and Lady Gaga to help with the feel while filming, can you tell? xD How to Create This Look == (Just for the curious!) :) First I used moisturizer then glued down my brows and covered them with foundation. I did put on foundation and concealer on my face and did some basic contouring but I don't think it's included in the video. I used eyelid primer on the eyes and in the general area that I knew I would be putting pigments. I first used orange and pink eye shadows from the Coastal Scents 88 Palette on my eyelids then took a white eyeliner and drew the extended shape. I filled this in with pinks a bit of red and some oranges and purples. I easily blended it away to make the white eyeliner disappear. Then I took Kryolan black Aqua color and an angled brush to draw on the black stripes and as eyeliner. I also used black eyeliner pencil to tightline. Don't forget mascara! I used pink cosmetic glitter on parts and silverish white glitter in the tear ducts. I used white Kryolan aqua color for the white stripe and black liquid liner for the mini point stripe on the white. For the lips, I first lined with black eyeliner then filled in with a light pink lipstick, did the borders of that with magenta ...
